Speech of Mr Olivier Laureau, President, Servier Foundation and Servier Group at the occasion of Group's 70th Anniversary.

''Today, Servier celebrates its 70th anniversary. More than a pharmaceutical company, we are a collective shaped by three core forces that have defined our identity and set us apart for over seven decades:

The First and foremost force that drives us is the patients: they define our purpose. They are the ones we are moved by. "Moved by you" is more than a tagline— it reflects our profound attachment to place the patients at the heart of everything we do. We have been founded to be dedicated to therapeutic progress to the benefit of patients.

Second, entrepreneurial innovation has been in our DNA for 70 years and will continue to guide us into the future. From researching new therapies to exploring new geographies, we have never stopped daring, inventing. We continue to push boundaries to deliver innovations that enhance our performance and, ultimately, improve patients' lives. We anticipate tomorrow's needs with boldness and determination!
 

And finally, the Servier people, whose talent, passion and commitment are our most precious asset. We encourage everyone to give their best, grow together, and build a strong collective, united by trust and a shared mission. I feel a profound sense of pride and gratitude. Thanks to them our pioneering spirit and our dedication to patients remains intact.

These three driving forces are enabled by something that we have and the others don’t: our unique governance model. Indeed, being governed by a non-profit foundation enables our independence and long-term vision to relentlessly innovate for the benefit of patient.

I am extremely proud of who we are and what we have accomplished over the past 70 years, our successful transformation over the last decade being the most recent example ! What a journey ! It's not over yet!
Together, we will prepare for the next 70 years with the same ambition and determination!''
